AFD is preparing to deploy a medic team to Kerrville. Details to follow.
85 agencies from across Texas are deployed right now as part of the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force. So far: ✅ 6,637 patient encounters ✅ 182 patients treated ✅ 109 transported This is what we mean when we say "Texans helping Texans."
AFD is on scene at Pine Forest Elementary School where a small fire has been extinguished at a construction site adjacent to the school. AFD will remain on scene to confirm that no further hazards exist.
