Isolated to scattered showers/storms today, but with much less coverage compared to the past few days. However, the heat & humidity will begin their comeback today with heat indices rising into the triple digits, and actual highs near 100° will be possible by midweek. #HOUwx

Similar to yesterday, scattered showers & storms will pop up through the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall, with rain rates of 1-2" per hour, will be possible in isolated strong storms. Minor flooding is possible. Remember, do not drive through flooded roads/underpasses. #HOUwx
