I’m a farmer like a woodpecker is a carpenter… but all I really wanna be is a beaver. 🇺🇸 in 🇨🇦
Uncle Louis is right, you don’t need govt to do these things for you.
Billy wants someone to stop the insane tipping culture. Why do people beg someone else (government?) to do something they can do themselves? Don't tip. Or tip what you want. It's not mandatory. And if the restaurant policy is to add X amount as a service charge, don't go there.
A little perk: Just text the chef of the best restaurant in Canada and got a reservation for September before their reservations for fall bookings open tomorrow. Not everyone appreciates the high quality food we are producing on diverse perennial farms - but the best chefs do.
The Freedom Convoy gave Canadians hope in its darkest time Now the organizers are facing 7 years in prison for embarrassing Trudeau while rapists and murderers get less Canada has turned into such a joke of a country Tamara Lich and Chris Barber are heroes FREE THEM
This is well done
Farrow to finish with the great @GGunthorp of Gunthorp Farms Learn: • How he raises pastured pigs • Building an on-site processing facility & smokehouse • Massive problems with the pig industry • Working with his son, Evan • And a lot more Farm tour #1 is officially out!
Now entering accumulation stage - let's leave them more than we started with.
Stewardship & inheritance. Cultivation of place.
I didn't read the article but I'm guessing it's about some hillbilly farmer got a bunch of people sick selling them raw milk ice cream. local12.com/news/nation-wo…
I learn a lot from putting out a garden every year. I’m always looking at it from a time management perspective. What can I do now… that saves time, work in the future? I playing with … 1/10 acre and maybe $100 in garden seed. Extrapolating what I learn to 3,100 acres.…

Save your used oil. Stock up on water balloons. Keep some sand handy.
🚨China, USA, Japan aren’t just building robots. They’re training them to fight, film, cook and even making cyber horses. Here are 10 wild examples you won’t believe are real: 1. Kawasaki built a 4-legged robot, feels straight out of sci-fi.
Yep. Different designs for different needs. Here are ours. They are 1500 sqft each.
These concepts follow through to our livestock production as well. The food system and national health would benefit if industrial pork and poultry production shifted to a sunlight model. You are what you eat.
If you’re not already following @AbudBakri you should. You’ll learn a lot of useful knowledge.
Trees should be a part of every farm. But you do have to plant an awful lot of them to hedge that breakdowns happens under shade. This is a smart idea for those in between places.
If you are smarter than me scroll on, if you learn life the hard way this is for you. If you work on equipment or old jobs just buy a pop up shade tent it could save a marriage. The shade it produces is a life saver and a mood saver also. It beats the shade of a tree that moves.
Regenerative drivetrain on an ecological engine sitting atop a wellhead of perpetual productivity.
This is the kind of thinking that puts “proof of work” back in the soil. I like the way your brain shifts gears, my dude. Regenerative drive train for the win. 🔧🌱🚜

I want an ecological system that has different gears. Full tilt boogie - modern efficiency and profit model. Down shift - fewer inputs & transport but kcals accumulated fueled by cheaper labor & local need. Cruise - easily gleaning serves a tribe thru societal upheaval.
