A thread on America's foreign policy and its connection with economic inequality and elite power: One of the big reasons the US is so exceptional is it's geography. 1/n

Since 2000 the US has built 25 million homes. Democrats let in 21 million people from 2020-2024 not counting the 80 million illegals they have been harboring for the past 40 years. The cost increases are strictly due to inviting a 100 million people into the US in the last 40…
The cost of housing has gone up by 174% since 1990. Childcare costs are up 120%. Healthcare costs are up a whopping 270%. It doesn't have to be this way. Our government can put American families first, create good jobs, and build an economy that people can afford.
What happens is foreign buyers will take money from illegal or corrupt dealings then buy US housing to "clean" their money and make it legitimate. Sellers don't ask questions because the offers tend to be in cash above asking price.
Foreign buyers purchased $56 billion worth of existing homes in the United States between April 2024 and March 2025, up by 33.2% from the previous 12 months, per NAR
My grandfather spent the Cuban Missile Crisis flying a B-52 strapped with nukes in circles in the Gulf, waiting for the order to go bomb Cuba.

Arrest Obama for his presidential library design
💯- H1B is all a corrupt Indian money funnel. It’s not that the H1Bs have BAD skills - they have NO SKILLS, and when they’ve been around for a while they still are horrible because they have no background in any subject matter. This is why you’re starting to see breaks in big…
People think it's hyperbole. They think you mean that they're just not as good as Western peers No, they literally have zero skills much of the time They flagrantly lie about things they've never even used before
This is rapidly what is happening to Florida. Scores of Dems have switched parties to remain in power without ever changing their positions. Scores forget their constituents the moment they’re elected to pursue their own selfish ambitions.
If your state turns solid red to the point where they can afford to shed some voters on the right, then the GOP will hose you with as many Liz Cheneys, Brad Littles, Spencer Coxs, Gregg Abbots & John Cornyns as they can.
“The U.S. has a moral obligation to be the world policemen, consequences for Americans be damned.”
With the US no longer interested in defending allies, war continues to break out globally. Now in Thailand/Cambodia. If the US/Europe had defended Ukraine, quickly destroying Russia's army and oil industry, none of this would be happening.
Duct tape can’t fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.
Serious question -- is there a way to automatically block or mute any X user who asks Grok if something is real? DO YOUR OWN THINKING AND RESEARCH. Do not outsource your critical thinking to machine learning, people. For crying out loud. I'm embarrassed for you.
Thanks, Obama.
Americans now spend more on health care than groceries or housing, with health care accounting for approximately 20% of household expenditures, according to the New York Times.
The question isn't what about THEM? The question is what about US? Our countries are for US - not THEM. We've taken our own side. They can go back to wherever they came from and you can go with them. We won't be gaslit into forsaking our own future. We're out of sympathy.
What about human beings who have risked everything, including their life, in search of a better future?
Marriages that happen are stronger, but fewer people are getting married which is a big reason birthrates are so low.
It looks like new marriages are (shockingly) stronger than in past decades. 🧵
Maybe, just maybe, the Sexual Revolution was a mistake. Maybe, just maybe, separating sex, marriage, and children was fundamentally detrimental to society and human flourishing.
Tea, a new app that lets women anonymously share photos and personal details of men they're dating for feedback, is going viral. Promoted as a safety tool for women navigating the dating world, it has sparked concerns about potential misuse and privacy violations. And… I don’t…
Describing yourself as a "former Gawker writer" is like introducing yourself to a crowd as a "former pedophile."
Instagram has a new feature where they warn you about scam accounts from third worlders before following them. Imagine if Twitter employed this. Serious potential.
You can thank the Democrats and Obama for this.
In the past, politicians ran for president by showing their electoral viability, running for more than one major office. Now it seems like winning one term as Governor or Senator is enough for someone to start pushing hard for the presidency.
This gave me a major flashback to a girl I dated in my mid-20s. Absolutely crazy but not at all in the fun way. Of course she went on to become a therapist.
Female breakup texts always sound like some HR boilerplate email notifying you you’ve been laid off
The answer is no, and that's in large part because the status quo exists only because of obscene amounts of govt support for corn ethanol, CRP payments, crop insurance, and other one-off payments designed to keep row crop farmers afloat. Fruit and vegetable producers may get…
It won’t just be cattle. Will society wake up and realize we should value and PAY independent farmers before it’s too late? That’s assuming it’s not too late. Is US agriculture sustainable??????
Folks, I need to inform you that there is very concerning data regarding the food situation in Gaza. Firstly, let me just that that as someone who supports Israel I anticipate many on my side will be skeptical of this and I totally understand why. Throughout the war you have…
