I'm more curious about the 85% (?!) of people not clicking any link after they've searched for something? Without an AI summary, aren't those links the entire point of searching? Is it just an indictment of Google's uselessness (which I don't buy)?

Someone on LinkedIn commenting on AI's impact on traffic for media publications just used the most obviously AI-written segment ever. I would say the jokes just write themselves but AI is probably behind that too.
