Hey I wonder what happened last time a state tried this
We’re phasing out Oklahoma’s income tax— finally. And once we get to zero, Oklahoma will be rollin like never before.
In just six months, over 50 immigration judges have left or been fired, and all hiring in the pipeline was frozen. And now we’re hearing that the admin was illegally ordering judges to interpret the law in a way the Trump admin wanted.
Immigration judges said they were told **how to rule** by DOJ to aid arrests of immigrants in courthouses.

The British trade deal wasn't what they said it was, the Vietnamese won't confirm Trump's announcement, and the Japanese say they're not signing a binding agreement. The White House has released the text of ZERO deals, and maybe it's all just social media posts all the way down.
"Japanese officials said there was no written agreement with Washington — and no legally binding one would be drawn up", and surprise surprise, they deny giving Trump $550b to arbitrarily spend however he wants. ft.com/content/c1183b…
Thank you, @MarcMaron , for these kind words. I’m sending a lifetime supply of captains table for the kitties.

I'm not sure that people realize how abnormal it is for journalists to be killed in wars. More have been killed in Gaza (232) than in the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War (+Cambodia and Laos), the Yugoslav wars, and the Afghanistan war, combined.
Emmett Till would have been 84 today. My dad is 84. I think about the many branches of a family tree that isn’t allowed to exist as a result of lynchings. I’m also reminded of how signs memorializing him have to be taken down because the worst people keep shooting them
