Our manuscript is published @genomeresearch We report exonized LINE-1 ORF1 and fusion proteins. One of them is a fusion protein of L1 ORF1p and Myosin light chain 4, named 'Lyosin', which was acquired by the common ancestor of reptiles and birds. genome.cshlp.org/content/early/…
