๐งต Tackling NHS waiting times is one of my top priorities, and while we still have lots to do, weโre making progress. Iโm happy to share that weโre delivering more appointments than we promised - helping more people get the care they need, faster. ๐

My last word on 'Waterlie'. The UK Government know that we rely on our good reputation on water for our whisky industry and tourism but are still quite happy to lie about our water quality to talk down Scotland and oppose nationalisation in England. thenational.scot/politics/25333โฆ
The scenes in Gaza are horrifying to watch. Israel is deliberately starving civilians. Children are dying as food and aid are blocked. Nothing can justify it. Enough is enough. The UK government must force Israel to let aid into Gaza, and the killing must stop. Now.

The poorest households in Slovenia & Malta are better off than the poorest in the UK. UK has some of the least generous welfare across the OECD Yet govts push failed policies, real wage/benefit cuts, unchecked profiteering, oppose higher tax on the rich. niesr.ac.uk/wp-content/uplโฆ

I came on secondment from the economic regulator of the Scottish water industry which - like almost every other country - is publicly owned Regulating a privatised industry was therefore new to me. It quickly seemed apparent that something wasnโt right
