This evening, homes and cars in the Roden Street area were attacked by masked youths from West Belfast. I liaised with Community Police who responded quickly and prioritised the incident. Thanks to residents for sharing info and helping stop further escalation.
#OnThisDay 27 July 1920, recruitment begins for the Auxiliary Division of the Royal Irish Constabulary (ADRIC). Recruited mostly from soldiers who had fought in WW1, for almost two years the 2,300 men of the ‘Auxies’ fulfilled a counter-insurgency role against the IRA.
Wouldn’t expect anything else from Brolly. Comparing Gaza to Auschwitz and Israeli soldiers to Nazis is beyond vile. It Mocks the Holocaust and desecrates the memory of its victims. This isn’t activism it’s antisemitism.
