No argument about the fact that nudging alone can't solve the world's problems, but +1 @alexolegimas that claims are sweeping! Sometimes I have conversations with colleagues that don't result in the intended outcome, but I don't dismiss "conversations" as not having value.
I think the issue is the "nudge" movement has misunderstood the point of the original "libertarian paternalism" paper and the "nudge" book. Original works argued that seemingly irrelevant factors can have an impact on behavior when *a set of conditions are met*🧵

Now that Wimbledon’s over, we can all agree that this is the point of the tournament ???
It's not funny that your stupid stunts have long term consequences. You build reputation over the long term, but can lose it by being an idiot once
There’s something incredibly funny and fitting about the fact that the vast majority of Americans have already forgotten the “Canada 51st state” stuff months ago but Canadians are still up there fuming

What's the collective noun for a group of close-in fielders @ESPNcricinfo @GeorgeDobell1 @ajarrodkimber @vishalmisra? For some reason, a clutch of close-in fielders sounds right....
Thanks Ralph. I admire your work & I have no issues with the paper. My point is that we need accurate titles & abstracts. Things go viral. Most don't read the paper. Defending the title/abstract by saying that the whole paper says something different just reinforces my point.
In 80s , Pakistan & India , use to have Wills Cup, like IPL& PSL. In ‘ 89’ both the Cricket Boards decided to play the winners of both the countries. This was the first match of winners, UBL Delhi , GSL If the Politics changes we might see winners of IPL & PSL. @TheRealPCB @BCCI
So Zelensky did everything Trump asked him to do, signed away mineral rights, agreed to an unconditional ceasefire, and the U.S. still cut off previously funded weapons supplies, leaving Ukrainian cities defenseless against Russian missile strikes. A lesson to all here.

Sharing this from a Reddit post. I couldn't stop laughing! This is the sad reality though.
At a narrow bridge I noticed the car flashing me through had an reg ending in LBW. Rather than giving the standard hand raise of thanks, I gave an umpire single finger "out" signal. They replied with a 4 runs arm wave. One of the greatest human interactions of my life.
