AB130 is already bearing plentiful fruit! Today the City of Beverly Hills confirmed in writing that 4 of our builders remedy projects are eligible for the AB130 CEQA exemption. Before the law was enacted the city demanded full EIRs. This will save us years not months.

I’m excited AB 130 got signed into law. But what I’m more looking forward to is its efficacy. I’m done with bill signing ceremonies. I want groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings. Because that’s the measure that matters: are we solving problems?

A blast from the past. In 2016, Gov. Brown proposed major CEQA reform for housing, no legislator supported the bill. 9 years later, @Scott_Wiener @BuffyWicks and @GavinNewsom got it done.
