Almost everything in the world can be blamed by Britain (old capitalism) or Ronald Reagan (new capitalism) or both
"We're stronger when we fight our common enemy β Doug Ford" but anytime I suggested we not run a full slate and focus on flipping PC seats instead of going after the ONDP, the party thought I was crazy? We won't face Ford for 3 or 4 years. Disagreement is healthy now. #onpoli
WATCH - βThere are individuals who have blind ambitionβ says Ontario Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie when I ask about Liberal MP Nate Erskine-Smith campaigning for her job. βMy attention isnβt divided between differing responsibilities, nor do I have a blind ambition for powerβ
Despite running on the Gardiner today, I still think we should terminate it at Exhibition/Lakeshore and demolish the elevated portion of the highway. They demoed the portion East of the DVP in 1998, and theres good reason to remove the rest.
There are about 30 other U.S. cities that need to do what Seattle did.
Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was

The way AOC is constantly ATTACKED by some on the Left because she has 95 percent of their desired program not 100 percent really tells you everything.
Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.
New housing is expensive and not affordable to the poor. But the people who can afford to live in the new building vacate their old home, which is affordable. The affordability benefits of new housing are indirect.
Crazy to me that this isn't a small town in Southwestern Ontario, it's a major arterial in Canada's largest city. Why is the tallest building on the street the fire station? Also: if speed is such an issue, why not make transit priority lanes?

We're 1 week away from Trump's 35% tariffs on imports from Canada, and honestly I hope Canada goes nuclear this time. Can't generate tariff revenue on oil & gas if all the pipes get shut off.
Ontario Liberals: Did you support Bonnie Crombie for Leader in 2023? Do you support her staying on as Leader in 2025? Please explain why in the replies #onpoli #OLPAGM
Enforced or manufactured consent is not consent. If you have to text your friends in a panic and beg the woman you assaulted to pretend she wanted it, that's not consent. Even though they were able to buy a not guilty verdict, every one of players deserve to live in shame.
No verdict yet but the judge says βI do not find E.M.βs evidence credible or reliable.β McLeod's family broke out in tears when she said this. Judge now going over the events of the night. @CityNewsTO
And where are they all going to work? Unemployment is already at record highs. In this economic environment, it feels like we're only a couple steps away from cancelling study permits and revoking LMIAs in the name of "domestic economic security"
Canada may cut almost 60,000 public jobs: report ctvnews.ca/politics/articβ¦
This is the kind of thing that becomes low-hanging fruit for Conservatives to trash us on. We could have easily built a permanent system for way less than a billion dollars.

I'm excited to announce my candidacy for VP Policy of the @OntLiberal party! The rebuild starts with drafting a new vision for Ontario, led by our party's membership, that will attract new Liberals to win in 2029. I'm rolling up my sleeves - I hope you'll join me. #onpoli
Randall Park says Hollywood keeps βtaking the wrong lessonsβ from successful movies. βFor example, βBARBIEβ is this massive blockbuster, and the idea is: Make more movies about toys! No. Make more movies by and about women!β
Last I checked, Bradford doesn't represent a ward anywhere near the area Also - expiring right before the municipal election is ridiculous. If you want to run for Mayor as the anti-transit anti-bike lane guy, have the guts to say it out loud!
Councillor Brad Bradford moves to make the RapidTO lanes on Bathurst & Dufferin temporary, expiring July 31, 2026.
Maybe it's 4D chess on Chow's part? Risk the funding, get a warning, then use Strong Mayor powers to get the full bill passed, and "blame" it on the feds? #TOpoli
Hopefully the Mayor steps up this time. cbc.ca/news/canada/toβ¦
Canada should follow U.K.βs move to lower voting age to 16, says senator cp24.com/news/canada/20β¦
Chow is first speaker on RapidTO. "It's not as if the TTC isn't putting the number of buses needed to serve these transit corridors βΒ it's because of the traffic jams on these streets," she says. She says a single parked car can block 100 transit riders. "It doesn't work."
