You don’t lose strength by lifting on game day. You lose it by skipping every game-day session for 12 weeks straight. In-season lifting done right = performance edge, not performance drop.

Athletes must employ Low Rep strength training to tap into High Threshold Motor Units. Lack of heavy loads (85%+) in a training program will hinder the strength development of the athlete. The Brief Maximal Tension method is suited perfectly for rapid neuromuscular development.

Turning down D2, D3 and NAIA opportunities when you have 0 opportunities make no sense to me. You staying home instead of playing bc you didn’t go D1 is something I just can’t support. I’ll never advocate for that. Love who loves you and go play!
