Your Slow Athlete doesn’t need Mobility and Ladder drills… They need Heavy Squats, Deadlifts, Loaded/Unloaded Jumps, and Timed Sprinting. You won’t see it advertised because it doesn’t sell well. Most people want to be fast without doing the hard work required.🤫🙌🏻
I’ve always found that when you Squat frequently and do derivatives of the Deadlift… You will deadlift more than when you Squat less and pull more frequently. My best Deadlifts always happened when I Squatted 2x a week, Good AMs 1x, RDL or Rack pulled 1x a week.

Box Squatting for Athletes👇🏻 ➡️Pause on the box ➡️Box should be at or below parallel (12-16”) ➡️Narrower Stance transfers better to jumps ➡️“Sit” on the box, don’t squat to the box. The Box squat can change your athlete’s performance for the better!🙌🏻

If you aren’t testing/evaluating frequently, your just guessing. We test weekly and monthly on various metrics so I know exactly how strong, fast and explosive our athletes are and how much they are improving. Test or guess, your choice.
Same with how running endless amounts of timed poles is pointless for baseball players. Making them "tough" is killing the qualities that make them competitive at their sport.
