Thanks to @dleighton91 for his assistance in Roden Street last night. Nationalist youths came from the Grosvenor AGAIN, attacking homes & cars whilst carrying weapons. Their elected reps are failing them, criminal records is what these young fellas with achieve, nothing more!!
This evening, homes and cars in the Roden Street area were attacked by masked youths from West Belfast. I liaised with Community Police who responded quickly and prioritised the incident. Thanks to residents for sharing info and helping stop further escalation.

Very telling that @hilarybennmp is sitting behind his father. A man who; has power over NI, didn’t get his power from NI, is benefiting the EU/ROI, is accountable to Kier Starmer (who exercises his power for the benefit of the EU). NI people can’t get rid of him. No democracy.
Tony Benn’s 5 questions: ▪️What power have you got? ▪️Where did you get it from? ▪️In whose interests do you exercise it? ▪️To whom are you accountable? ▪️How do we get rid of you? “And if you can’t get rid of the people who govern you, you don’t live in a democratic system.”
9 days since the 11th and not one tweet from @allianceparty @EoinTennyson @sinnfeinireland about the asbestos at the bonfire site on the Donegal Rd, I wonder why 🤷🏼♂️
The Institution has responded to recent media coverage following the Twelfth. Read our full statement here: goli.org.uk/post/the-orang…
I’ve made the online news! Sadly wasn’t asked for comment, otherwise I’d have corrected them on the several things they’ve gotten wrong, almost one on every paragraph. Is journalism now just piecing together bits of tweets to best suit your narrative?

Sitting with my popcorn 🍿 at the ready, for the class action law suit from the residents of Roden Street vs Belfast City Council re their exposure to asbestos over many many years, and the council’s lack of action upon knowing of its location.
Probably one of their award winning pro Republican journalists thought that would be a good idea as they have spent the last three days demonising the PUL community of the Village and now Roden Street also.
Here is Kneecap- I don’t recall any of the nationalist or media elite losing their minds over this. It was ‘edgy art’, apparently. Good for the goose, good for the gander. Suck it up.
It's actually pretty disturbing how many politicians & alleged journalists in Northern Ireland seem to think the police don't have operational independence & that a bunch of councillors can just have a quick meeting then demand the police do something for them, no questions asked
For someone who "doesnt use this platform anymore", he's fairly making use of it in the last 48 hours to make the case that the unionist culture doesnt have a place with the SDLP. Why isnt Seasmas engaging with the community directly, instead of stoking tensions?
11pm Statement from NIEA confirming more asbestos found on the Broadway site. The safest thing anyone can do is to stay away - don’t put yourself, or your family at risk. Don’t listen to those who’d encourage you to take that risk for the sake of petty politics.
Victory to the Loyalist Village. Have a great 11th/12th. A great community and great people.
There's that leadership your man, and I mean "man" in the loosest possible sense, @PatSheehanMLA was saying unionism was lacking!!
📄 DUP Councillors Submit Call-In on Monarch Street Bonfire Decision Today, the DUP Group on Belfast City Council formally handed a Call-In petition to the Chief Executive regarding the decision to remove the bonfire at Monarch Street. This action has been taken in line with…
This is where a bit of historical awareness goes a long way, and to be fair, Unionists do need to get better at telling this side of the story. The Glorious Revolution and the Battle of the Boyne are far too often reduced to a simple Protestant vs Catholic narrative, which…
And that’s also celebrated with bonfires here 👇🏻Personally, I think the idea of celebrating a battle in the which thousands of people died & the two ‘sides’ still live along side each other is not an attractive proposition. It’s not inclusive by its very nature.
If this leads to violence and PSNI officers are injured, the fault lies at the door of those councillors in Belfast city council that started this debacle. This was avoidable.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland have received a formal request for assistance from Belfast City Council in relation to the removal of material from a bonfire site at Meridi Street. orlo.uk/I0yZ4
I was on the ground on the Donegall Road this evening speaking with the local community and trying to calm any fears and reduce tensions. The parties who took the decision to remove this bonfire today were nowhere to be seen, happy to sit at home and let others deal with the…
