"If Texas Republicans gerrymander themselves additional advantages on a congressional map they already control 25-12, the stakes will reverberate beyond South Texas," @davedaley3 writes. wapo.st/4nSMs8G
To eliminate gerrymandering, eliminate single-winner districts, which make gerrymandering possible and profitable! Proportional representation is the solution.

Check out what the @washingtonpost Editorial Board has to say about Initiative 83: "The D.C. Council still has time to fund implementation of [Initiative 83]. If it fails to do so, it will tarnish itself and leave D.C. residents worse off." washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/…
Another day, another reason to adopt #ProportionalRepresentation. Stop the gerrymandering wars & make general elections competitive. The @RepDonBeyer @RepRaskin #FairRepAct offers a path forward

This is the logical end result of the current no-holds-barred style of politics, and voters are the ones who lose out.

This one weird trick will help you stop electing candidates with 30% of the vote @RankTheVoteUSA @AllVotesCountDC @fairvote
The core problem with third parties is that 45 states use plurality voting in general congressional elections. That makes these efforts much more likely to act as spoilers, hurting the traditional party their supporters are closer to, than to win enough seats to matter.
“Voters say they want more choice at the polls, candidates who engage with them, and a genuine, issues-based campaign. They got exactly that in NYC because of #RankedChoiceVoting.” - @davedaley3 in @GuardianUS theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
#RankedChoiceVoting doesn't favor any ideology. As FairVote's @davedaley3 shared on @FastPoliticsPod with @MollyJongFast, it "elects the candidate with the broadest and widest support."
