It was a privilege to join @FaithfulPolitik and talk about how #RankedChoiceVoting can help improve our elections. 250 years into America’s great experiment, 88% of Americans feel our political system is broken. RCV can help restore our democracy’s commitment to “We the People.”

Great piece from @PostOpinions calling for full funding of DC’s Initiative 83: “#RankedChoiceVoting is much fairer… than letting anyone who can win a narrow plurality of the vote hold office. It’s also popular in places where it has been implemented.” washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/…
"I went into the cross-endorsement with, let's say, gritted teeth... but it generated a response of gratitude and hopefulness that the government could be something less selfish." - @bradlander #RankedChoiceVoting helping to change the game in NYC.
Really great @HellGateNY interview with @bradlander, who is uncommonly open about the difficulties of running a campaign and his evolution as a candidate hellgatenyc.com/brad-lander-un…
In NYC's primaries, #RankedChoiceVoting gave voters the best of all worlds: A more positive campaign where candidates must reach beyond a small base to win. It's a model for what better elections can look like. See why in my new op-ed for @fulcrum_us ⬇️ thefulcrum.us/electoral-refo…

Great piece from @IsmarVolic for @WBUR. With #RankedChoiceVoting, campaigns don’t have to be a toxic "zero-sum game." Candidates who earn the support of a majority of voters are rewarded, regardless of ideology. wbur.org/cognoscenti/20…

.@elonmusk's America Party isn't the first attempt to give voters a choice beyond the two major parties. But until #RankedChoiceVoting is the norm, the "spoiler" problem will make it difficult for 3rd parties to break through as viable, lasting options for voters. Learn more ⬇️

#RankedChoiceVoting in NYC’s general makes a lot of sense @admcrlsn. A majority winner for everyone! NYC’s general election for mayor alone will have at least 4 contenders.
Most of you already know this, but I’ve seen this asked a lot this past week. The NYC mayoral general election will *not* use ranked choice voting. It’s first-past-the-post. A plurality wins. Only party primaries and special elections use RCV. Don’t ask me why, it’s dumb.
96% of New Yorkers say #RankedChoiceVoting is simple. 77% want to keep RCV or expand it. That’s what happens when you give voters more choice & more power. fairvote.org/press/nyc-rank…
This great @nytimes article shows how #RankedChoiceVoting changes campaigns for the better. It’s not unusual to see rival candidates like @ZohranKMamdani and @bradlander campaigning side by side. It’s how you build a winning coalition.
