Update~@mcfrs dispatched at 914pm for vehicle in floodwater with 1 trapped. Swift water crews assisted 1 adult onto dry land with no injuries. MCPD assisting in road closure of intersection until water recedes. @mcfrsPIO

According to the flood gauge at Sligo Creek near Takoma Park, the creek peaked at 7.52 feet which breaks the old record of 6.80 feet. #mdwx
