🏳️⚧️ I attended today’s Trans+ Solidarity briefing in Parliament. 🗣️ Trans voices must be heard. Their rights are being debated, yet too often they’re left out of the discussion. 🤝 I’m proud to stand with the trans community in the fight for dignity, equality and inclusion.

Wera just wanted to visit her son in Hong Kong and meet her baby grandson for the first time. But after a 13-hour flight, the Chinese authorities turned her away – just because she’s a British MP. So heartless. And totally unacceptable.
We may be inconvenience for the media, but we are making a difference @LibDems are leading the debate in so many areas and it’s simply not acceptable for us to be written out of the story

I was really pleased that the Minister agreed to look into this case where the income of an abusive partner was not validated and resulted in arrears having to be repaid at just £1 a month. vikkislade.uk/post/vikki-cha…

This is thuggery from Trump and Vance, plain and simple. They are bullying the brave true patriot Zelensky into accepting a deal which effectively hands victory to Russia. Unless the UK and Europe step up, we are facing a betrayal of Ukraine.

Social Care providers should not have to protest. The Labour government has done nothing to repair the damage done by the Conservatives and have only kicked the can down the road. Ministers need to accelerate their review and introduce the reforms the Social Care sector needs.
Yesterday's Ofgem announcement on the energy price cap was shocking and puts further pressure on our Pensioners who have already been hit by the withdrawal of the Winter Fuel Allowance. I challenged the Minister on this in Parliament. vikkislade.uk/post/lib-dem-s…

🚨BREAKING🚨 A massive win for @LibDemLords as the House of Lords votes by 305 to 175 in favour of our amendment to exempt care providers, NHS GP practices, NHS dentists and others from the upcoming rise in NI contributions. The Government should listen and respond accordingly.
