Just arrived in #Sudan, where needs are immense, but so is the resilience of its people. Humbled to meet our dedicated staff delivering amid hardship. IOM remains committed to standing with Sudan and finding every way to support those we serve.
Our Regional Director @OthmanBelbeisi is in #Sudan this week. Alongside the Chief of Mission, he’ll meet senior officials in Port Sudan & Khartoum and hear directly from those affected by the war to help advocate for the more than 30 million people in Sudan in urgent need.

Over the past 2 months, our temporary clinics have supported more than 10K women & girls in Kassala locality. Services provided incl. reproductive health care such as safe childbirth & the referral of high-risk cases to hospitals for specialized care. #UNFPAthanksJapan #ForSudan

Over 500,000 people in #Sudan including many displaced by war will gain access to clean, safe water close to home. Supported by @KuwaitFund, this intervention means fewer health risks, less burden on families, and vital relief in places where basic services have collapsed.
