Today, IOM signed a three year action plan between @UNmigration and @OIC_OCI at their 51st Session of the CFM #OICCFMIstanbul. My profound thanks to the OIC ASG Ambassdor Tariq Ali Bakheet. We share a commitment to vulnerable people on the move in the Muslim world.

I was honoured to give the closing remarks at the Global Forum on Migration and Development workshop in Tunisia. The event saw active discussions matched by concrete recommendations. Thank you @TunisieDiplo for hosting this important event.

Great dialogue today with Dr. Majed Sulaiman Alazmi, Acting DG of Kuwait’s @zakat_house. Their humanitarian work in Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon is truly impactful. A few months after the launch of IOM’s Islamic Philanthropy Fund, this fruitful exchange couldn’t be more timely.

It was a pleasure meeting with H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of @MOFAKuwait, today. We are marking 30 years of presence in Kuwait, effective cooperation, and many success stories. We look forward to an even stronger collaboration in the future.
