Despite the gloomsters the reality is business are not closing at record levels. Number of business closures down 2.4%. A long way to go but not the gloom we are peddled.
There were 74,025 business closures in Quarter 2 (Apr to June) 2025, down 2.4% on Quarter 2 2024. The most significant fall came from transport and storage.
