Today, after 14 years, I’m resigning from the Labour Party. Jeremy Corbyn and I will co-lead the founding of a new party, with other Independent MPs, campaigners and activists across the country. Join us. The time is now. Sign up here to stay updated: actionnetwork.org/forms/join-tea…

This is mealy-mouthed and refuses to call it what it is: racism. It doesn’t even have the decency to name me, let alone offer a direct apology. Supine journalism from The Observer, but sadly that’s what we’ve come to expect from the mainstream media.
Editor's note on the removal of the SAF cartoon from our 20 July edition: We are genuinely sorry for causing offence, and we are taking the cartoon down. bit.ly/46g5b7P
Says the dullard who hired a rugby coach as his director of football lol
You belong in a secondary school politics class, and I wouldn’t expect a good mark either.
Keir Starmer and David Lammy both belong in The Hague.
Really pleased to have joined this historic meeting. Over a thousand people - active members of a range of different trade unions discussing the importance of a new party which is shaped by and genuinely represents workers and communities. Real change is on the way. Great…
Well over a thousand people took part in a meeting tonight, with contributions from @jeremycorbyn and @zarahsultana, plus NEC members from #Unite #UCU #NEU #Unison #PCS and other trade unions, about the need to build, with trade unions and trade unionists at its heart, a new…
Stop selling arms to Israel then.
The suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths. Alongside 25 other partners, the UK message is clear: the war in Gaza must end now. We need an immediate ceasefire, release of all hostages and a full resumption of aid. gov.uk/government/new…
The Observer has now deleted the post, but shame on them for publishing such racist trash in the first place. The editor and “artist” still haven’t apologised. So much for accountability. Pathetic.
Brownfacing a box of raisins and mocking my surname. Exactly what you’d expect from a right-wing hack who is the daughter of an aristocrat and ex-Tory MP.

Starmer’s Labour government refuses to call it a genocide, continues to provide Israel with arms, surveillance and military training, rolls out the red carpet for unindicted Israeli war criminals, and criminalises those who dare to speak out against it. It’s their genocide too.
BREAKING: More than 30 people have been killed after Israeli troops opened fire towards crowds of Palestinians waiting for aid, according to witnesses and hospital officials news.sky.com/story/gaza-mor…
Massive Attack announce alliance of musicians speaking out over Gaza against “intimidations from within our industry” Other acts supporting the alliance include Kneecap, Fontaines D.C., Brian Eno and Garbage nme.com/news/music/mas…
2 questions for journalists to ask Starmer or Rayner: 1. Did you actually listen to @HackneyAbbott's interview before you suspended her? 2. What, specifically and quoting her directly, do you object to in her characterisation of racism?
Martin Forde concluded Labour operates a hierarchy of racism, where anti-Black racism & Islamophobia are brushed aside. Now we have a Prime Minister who mimicked Enoch Powell with “island of strangers” & suspended the UK’s first Black woman MP twice. It’s institutional racism.
We warned that proscription would have a dangerous chilling effect on freedom of expression. Now we see armed officers threatening to arrest people with Palestine flags and free Gaza placards. There is no lawful basis for this police behaviour.
The Spectator is shortly going to run a story about me attending Glastonbury. My response to them: “Typical of a right-wing rag that once ran a piece ‘In praise of the Wehrmacht’ to attack me for attending Glastonbury, where I spoke on two panels about how to confront the far…

A year ago, Starmer & McSweeney suspended 7 of us for voting to scrap the two-child benefit cap & immediately lift 350,000 kids from poverty. Now they’re punishing MPs who opposed cuts that would push 800,000 disabled people into poverty. Insecure men. No vision. No compassion.
During the parliamentary debate on Wednesday 2 July 2025, I said: “We are all Palestine Action”. Yet this was not included in Hansard’s official record. This was censorship. Today, I challenged that omission and corrected the record. We will not be silenced.
Just 12% of Britons approve of the government's record to date, the lowest level recorded by YouGov since Labour took office Approve: 12% (-1 from 5-7 July) Disapprove: 66% (-1) Net: -54 (=)
A ceasefire is not enough. The Israeli military’s weaponisation of aid and starvation to displace and destroy Palestinian society will not stop as long as Israel controls aid distribution. Our new analysis shows how Israel has imposed a deadly aid system through GHF ration…
Starmer’s Labour just passed a law: even if you win your appeal after being stripped of citizenship, you won’t get it back until the state runs out of ways to fight you. Two weeks ago, they labelled a non-violent direct action group as terrorists. Labour’s authoritarianism.
Since Starmer took over Labour has been given more than £12m by City firms and people with strong links to finance That’s going to look like very good value for money
