Happy Disability Pride Month! 🧡 Transport for All is unapologetically disabled. We’re a Disabled People’s Organisation, led by and for our community. We campaign for accessible transport, breaking down barriers so disabled people can make the journeys we want to.

Getting where we want to go easily and quickly matters, whether we're travelling for work, health or fun. 1 in 10 bus routes were axed in 2022. Disabled people use buses far more than non-disabled people, so we were hardest hit. We all need good bus routes to get around.
I can't work, but the person I live with has to go by car and there is no way by public transport that is accessible or realistic as it would take 5 buses and 1 train to get there which would take 4 hours to go one way. Public transport isn't viable for millions for communiting.
We all want the freedom to hop on a train and get to our destination, but as disabled people we often have to go miles to find a station where we can. We need more stations to be accessible, so public transport is for all of us.
I have to drive 9 miles to an accessible station to get to work as my nearest (500m) is only accessible in one direction. I have to drive past another inaccessible station en route too
Join a community led by disabled people, working towards a more accessible future. Together, we're transforming transport so we can travel with dignity, ease, and confidence. 💪 Be part of the movement – become a member today: transportforall.org.uk/take-action/be…

How's everyone feeling today? It's been a grim few weeks.
In the aftermath of the cuts passing, we are sending solidarity to all Disabled people who feel worried about the future. As a Disabled-led organisation, many of us feel the same - but these concessions showed the power of our movement, and that our strength to fight is growing!
Answers on a postcard - is your quickest travel route to work (or possible work) accessible for you?
We are told that buses are accessible but one wheelchair space with no way of securing a wheelchair? The idea that buses are a way of getting to work is a myth. With crap access on the tube & hit & miss on the trains, I do wonder how we're all meant to get to work?🤪
We are with our community. We will not allow these cuts.
Disabled people in poverty should not be footing the bill of successive Governments' failure to tax big corporations. The decision to target Disabled people already marginalised by state policies is a political choice, not an imperative. Our response👇 disabilityrightsuk.org/news/governmen…
It's another tough day for our community. We're digesting the impacts cuts will have on our disabled transport concessions. We'll be in touch with members soon with an update.
#WelfareReformBill We fought really hard and we want to say thank you to all disabled people and allies who gave everything they had over the months raising awareness and building campaigns against disability benefit cuts We are exhausted We won’t give up We will fight on
Thanks for the reminder Tanni. In case you didn't know, we can ALL turn up and go! #DisabledRights
