Back to work properly this morning. Head's already spinning but getting everything back on track. Got so many exciting irons in the fire.

Just fell out of my wheelchair with such force I broke my bedside cabinet. Who designs wheelchairs with the front casters behind the footplate? Bipeds. Now I wait to discover what bits I've hurt. Also going to need a new bedside cabinet. Or get the gaffer tape out 🤪🤣

Oh my. Just had my first veggie fish & chips at @GoldenUnion & wowzers. Very very nice. Great service too. & An accessible toilet! Just off Oxford Street! Yippee. Haven't had fish & chips since the mid 80s.

Tonight I think I've hit peak troll/bot. I've been called able bodied & told to get a job! All by accounts who claim to be disabled. Sure.

Are manufacturers making men's clothes in vanity sizing? Purchased 2 pairs of jeans in 38" waist. Both are huge, at least 40". Don't want to wear a belt when sitting down but they're like clown trousers. I suppose they have room to grow 🤪🤣

New auditing job making public transport more accessible. Really proud of being asked, working to leave a legacy for the future. Access should be for everyone.

Today I have woken with a deep anger at everything. If everyone wants disabled people to play a greater role in society, said society needs to be more accessible, more inclusive & more welcoming to disabled people. We should be able to live as we choose.

Eeek. Camden Town is a tourist nightmare. Might be great for the businesses but for us locals? Argh.

Today it's off to the hospital again. This time to discover what is impacting my hands & what I can do to improve the situation. Who'd have thought getting older would be such a rollercoaster 🤣

Watching an old episode of Foyle's War about fascists around the time of Dunkirk. Then we hung them, now we give them air time in the media & vote for them to run councils & sit in Parliament. Remember the real Dunkirk spirit.

Watched an older dog walking yesterday, obviously hiding how much pain it was in. I felt such a bond with that dog. At one point it stopped & bit its back leg. I wanted to scoot over & say "I know that feeling mate".

Just about to set up for the @disabilityarts session exploring how the political thinking around disability can help with writing, character & voice. Exciting to be able to use my professional knowledge in a creative way. Feeling the call of the arts.

Love being able to shower everyday thanks to my wetroom but the post shower recovery steals time from my day. Takes long enough to get to the point I'm ready to shower but needing to get the energy to start the day adds another period of waiting. It's be clean or start early 🤣

I have full trust that 16-17 year olds will be able to vote sensibly. I know I was passionate about politics from that age & would have voted from an informed position.

Had some work to do, so struggled through but my pain is daft now. So with most done the rest can wait for tomorrow. Output is the key, not hours.
