Proud to announce my internship offer at Albuquerque firm Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. I only hope that I can live up the example of menswear icon Howard Hamlin. Thanks, @PatrickFabian, you made my day! #BetterCallSaul
I watched Wrestlemania III on pay-per-view at a friend's house. Got tickets and cheered my heart out the first time Hulk ever wrestled in my hometown. Many sneer at the appeal of pro wrestling but they are missing something important. RIP.
It’s hard to express for kids who grew up in the 80s what Hulk Hogan meant to us. He was a real life super hero. He taught us to say our prayers and take our vitamins. And even when we knew WWF was pre-determined, it didn’t matter. He was an idea, a dream we all wanted to be: a…
The quality of this piece reflects a broader trend of huge improvements in the coverage of religion by periodicals like @nytimes, due in no small part to the work of @faithangleforum
@publicroad writing in @nytimes on the legacy of the late John McArthur nytimes.com/2025/07/15/us/…
We certainly wouldn't want this completely new, unprecedented phenomenon on our campuses.
The Johnson Amendment violates the First Amendment. The bipartisan non-enforcement pact is in part because the "violations" are bipartisan. I would strongly oppose my own church endorsing candidates. I'm not threatened by houses of worship that use their freedom differently.
It’s often a bad practice. Churches should tread carefully. But this is the correct Constitutional result. The Johnson Amendment as it was interpreted over the decades violates the 1st A.
Not a commentary on the electoral point but I wish we could retire the cheeky sounding term "sex pest" to describe the coercive lechery of the Andrew Cuomos of this world.
I don’t want the DSA guy to win the primary against the centrist sex pest but if it does happen, well, glass half full, we will get to see something new.
I am a big fan of everything @wmataGM is doing. When government officials bring this level of excellence to their jobs. they should be praised.

Jews have to be able to live in America without the fear of violence. Right now, they can't. It's a national emergency.
If a right-wing movement had burned down a governor’s mansion, murdered two foreign diplomats & firebombed kids and elderly people at a peaceful protest — in the span of a few weeks — what would the coverage look like? What sort of “national conversation” would we be having?
It is dreadful to think that in 2025 America's Jewish citizens must live in fear of anti-Semitic violence and that American Jewish institutions, including houses of worship, must be secured against it. Even to enter a synagogue in my suburban New Jersey town worshippers must walk…
We are horrified, angry, and heartbroken over the murders of two Israeli Embassy staff members in DC last night. Antisemitic hate inevitably leads to antisemitic violence and everyone has an obligation to speak out.
Two years from the day of his passing, this is a tremendous tribute to the life and work of Tim Keller.
A beautiful tribute to Tim Keller @jake_meador @mereorthodoxy I regularly meet people who either came to Christ or are still Christians because of Keller. *Reason for God* was instrumental in my own conversion too. A beautiful legacy of faithful ministry. mereorthodoxy.com/tim-keller-obi…
Young Roy Hobbs K'ing "The Whammer" is one of the greatest scenes in sports movie history. RIP to Joe Don Baker..."You sure do look different in street clothes."
RIP Joe Don Baker, who played the Whammer (aka Babe Ruth) in THE NATURAL. It's one of my favorite scenes.
Whether or not the Supreme Court's 1983 ruling in the Bob Jones case was correct, it did not give free rein to the president to revoke an institution's tax-exempt status. "Over the past quarter of a century, every pronouncement of this Court and myriad Acts of Congress and…

More schools and streets should be named after Roger Williams.
Great moments in American liberty & democracy: Rogers Williams founds Rhode Island in 1636 as oasis of religious freedom.
I don't know @DrJBhattacharya, but I have friends who speak very highly of him. This is a remarkable example of public Christianity. He seems like a man with a peaceful inner life.
In 2020, then director of the National Institutes of Health, Francis Collins, called him a “fringe epidemiologist” and pushed for a “devastating takedown.” Today, @DrJBhattacharya is the new director of the NIH. And Collins has apologized. thefp.pub/4lbEAhd
This is a really important summary of a terrible online trend.
‼️I need to warn you about something! The term CHRIST IS KING has been a declaration of shared Christian values for generations, but shocking research by @ncri_io at @RutgersU compiled in a report I co-authored with Dr. @jordanbpeterson demonstrates that this iconic phrase is…
A really thoughtful man.
“Celebrating rise of secularism in 2003 was my dumbest mistake.” @jon_rauch @AEI Tho still not religious, he now realizes USA needs Christianity.
It would be an extremely grave matter for a president to defy an actual (unstayed, in-effect) order of a federal court in a case that is indisputably in the court's jurisdiction. I’ve been vocal in condemning what I call the myth of judicial supremacy—the notion, that is, that…
I can't wait to listen to this. The best interviewer in the biz talks to one of the most compelling guys making a public case for faith.
