You might think “Gary, Indiana!” But you’d be wrong. Corpus Christi.

On Friday Planned Parenthood was in court in Boston trying to convert a ridiculous TRO into a ridiculous PI to keep its taxpayer $. 10 years ago today I had my first moment of semi-virality after a PP exec haggled over baby body part prices because she wanted a Lamborghini.…

Every conservative should *hate* qualified immunity. It was invented by a few judges & lets government workers break the law—in cartoonish ways—without consequence. If you believe in limited government and hate "legislating from the bench," you really can’t defend this.
Harlow v Fitzgerald may be the best example of judicial tyranny, actually. Congress passes a law to secure Constitutional rights by holding state and local officials accountable for violating them. SCOTUS "amends" it by adding qualified immunity, largely gutting the law.
Trump gained grounded with nearly every young adult religious group even as nearly every religious institution appealed to left wing values, in hopes of winning the youth.
Trump gained ground with nearly every young adult religious group from 2016 to 2024: +6 White evangelicals +9 White Catholics +15 Non-white evangelicals +12 Non-white Catholics +13 LDS It’s actually hard to find a group where he lost support.
it's good to live in America and not somewhere else
Insane. Six weeks in prison for sending a racist tweet. No threat or incitement to violence, but "clearly racist": six weeks in prison.
This is a wild separation of powers fight to come. I would be amazed if Trump didn’t do as James suggests and remove anyone the NJ judges puts in place after removing Habba. If they do.
The district judges in New Jersey are thinking about replacing @realdonaldtrump’s chosen US Attorney—@USAttyHabba—with someone the judges choose under a statute purporting to give them that power. But if the judges attempt that move, it should fail. Here’s why. 1/

I’ve lost track of how many people replied with: “At least Europe doesn’t have mass shootings!” U.S. gun violence is tragic. So is this: Europe saw 60,000+ heat deaths in 2022 alone—more than double U.S. gun homicides. Third-world continent behavior.
Slowly, over a period of decades, Congress —with the quiet cooperation of the Supreme Court and thousands of state government officials — created a whole network of shadowy organizations in Washington DC that actually govern us.
What's a conspiracy theory you believe with your whole heart?
After a journey of 1.26 billion feet, landing on the moon was quite awesome.
Did you know that when Americans say "quite" they mean "very"? And when everyone else says it they mean "somewhat"?
Oh, yes, the old sudden surge in greed. Good thing polls don't translate directly into policy!
Most consumers blame price increases on corporate greed, not Trump’s tariffs trib.al/SGP1gfE
LOL a lot of Europeans in my mentions very defensive about this. Imagine what the Desis will say when I point out who brought the chili pepper to the subcontinent. (The Irish don't need to be reminded about potatoes.) Look: The New World was an amazing dietary bonanza.
Just remember: Not a single European, much less any Italian, had eaten a tomato until the 16th century.
What this hopefully tells Chief Justice Roberts is that the federal government has become too important to people’s lives and he needs to recommit himself to reining that in.
Mainers kayaked to the island summer home of Chief Justice Roberts this morning to protest the extremist agenda & demand resistance to tyranny. By land and by sea Mainers get it done! #MEpolitics
A modest proposal
President Donald Trump is threatening to hold up a new stadium deal for Washington’s NFL team if it does not restore its old name of the Redskins that is considered offensive to Native Americans. espn.com/espn/story/_/i…
