I’m at the Sandie Peggie tribunal today. Sandie did nothing wrong. She simply asserted her lawful right to a single-sex space. John Swinney and Neil Gray might have confidence in NHS Fife, but Scotland does not. Carol Potter and the board must go 👇🎥
Political-societal context for the Sandie Peggie v NHS Fife & Dr Upton tribunal is interesting. This is how Nicola Sturgeon was talking about women who opposed self-ID in May 2023. The NHS Fife changing-room incident happened just 6 months later, in December 2023:
"A potential blanket ban on allowing men access to female-only facilities such as toilets and changing room in public bodies is unlikely to be implemented until 2026." The ban isn't potential, it's already the law. Are we going for the FM hat-trick?

Update from Maya! The tribunal of Sandie Peggie v NHS Fife resumed this week, and I am in Dundee to watch some of the hearing, with Sandie and her family, and with supporters from Scotland and beyond.
