I’ll go live on knowingius.org via the app at about 5 today to recap the first day of Peggie v NHS Fife and Dr Beth Upton. Recording will be available after too.
I think because my phone died the live stream recording from yesterday may be lost. I’m looking into recovering it but if not I’ll try to do a recap this evening along with today’s events.
For those who were on live with me just there, apologies for the feed dropping - my phone died. Will catch up after the tribunal tomorrow!

Naomi Cunningham’s junior in Peggie v NHS Fife, Charlotte Elves, has played an absolute blinder today. Great cross this morning and then took complete control of an extraordinary developing situation in response to the irresponsible NHS Fife statement. bbc.com/news/articles/…
Interesting how both Isla Bumba and Kate Searle relied on Google to provide them with advice on the law relating to single sex changing rooms. I wonder what their views are on people googling their symptoms and relying on that for medical advice.
Sandie Peggie has requested nothing more than what she is entitled to under law: a single sex changing facility at work.
Sandie Peggie should not have had to change with a male person, explains @michaelpforan thecritic.co.uk/the-truth-abou…
Very interesting day today in Peggie v NHS Fife and Beth Upton. I need to run a quick errand but then will get back and look at notes before going live to discuss - likely to be after 5.30.
With a few exceptions -- @Docstockk, @aytchellesse, @byrne_a -- philosophers continue to affect a bizarre neutrality over whether there are male women. Is it any surprise this cues the public into writing off academia generally? Me and @d_kodsi in TPM philosophersmag.com/philosophical-…
With all appropriate respect to this tweeter, who I understand has a PhD, this tweet demonstrates some fundamental misconceptions about how judicial decision making works - issues which are taught in the first few weeks of year 1 of a standard LLB. Within the jurisdictions in
What is it with Labour MPs and misunderstanding how UK law actually works. Sex doesn't mean biological sex under the ruling as the ruling requires the government to make it operational. Oh, that's right, you just want to promote gender critical propaganda.
Will go live on knowingius.org via the app this evening to discuss the recent developments in Peggie v NHS Fife and Dr Beth Upton. Hopefully around 5pm.
It’s understandable that some think that NHS Fife and Dr Upton don’t have an opportunity to settle with Sandie Peggie given they are the respondents but this isn’t true. They can concede liability or stop calling witnesses and move to a judgment based on the evidence so far.
They are the respondent. They don’t have the option to settle. Sandie refused, so all this rot could come out in the open.
I spoke to Times Radio this morning about the first few days of the resumed hearing in Peggie v NHS Fife and Dr Beth Upton:
