Honored and humbled with the fact our works were featured three times by various journals since 2021. 1. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…… 2. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…… 3. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Troponin I (slow skeletal) is our #CellLineOfTheWeek! ❤️🔬 Our human stem cell lines & plasmids are available for just the cost of shipping to reduce the barriers to scientific discovery. 🧫🚀 📦 Distributed by @Coriell_Science & @Addgene #OpenScience
"Mathematics: Its Content, Methods and Meaning" By Aleksandrov, Kolmogorov, and Lavrent'ev. A pretty good overview of many subject areas of math. Over 1000 pages. Archive: archive.org/details/Mathem…
Finally! My PhD work is out in @JCellBiol 😀 Thanks to everyone involved at @LabYuseff, @sarahdezperez and @mattilalab . It took a while but was completely worth it 🙌
.@LabYuseff @uc_chile show that B cells respond to mechanical cues at the immune synapse through ATAT1-dependent microtubule acetylation to coordinate cytoskeletal dynamics & lysosome positioning, enhancing antigen extraction and presentation hubs.la/Q03y2G-f0
University Tenure At the elite university where I worked, tenure was sold as a guarantee. During recruitment, I was told it was a lifetime appointment, that my salary was protected, and that tenure came with rights like free speech and due process. Some claims were verbal others…
I remember everyone was putting together a proposal on this problem. So did we. These are mine. How naive we were……

They played Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar soundtrack in Cologne Cathedral. Surreal.
Only in Russia will thousands of people gather to celebrate…a cucumber 😁🥒
In new study from Muziyue Wu et al. @OWeinerLab, in vivo biochemistry sheds new light on how the WAVE complex templates the characteristic shape of lamellipodial protrusions. hubs.la/Q03xvbW90 #Cytoskeleton #Actin #Migration #Motility #Biophysics
You're looking at the sharpest image of atoms ever taken. Scientists zoomed in 100 million times to capture the atomic world.
How do cells link adhesion to protein synthesis? New findings suggest the protein p130Cas forms droplets that bud from focal adhesions and suppress translation, hinting at a novel mechanism for regulating cell state via phase separation. elifesciences.org/articles/96157…
The fireworks in your mind. 🧠✨ This sparkling video shows the neurotransmitter glutamate being released into synapses, made possible by an indicator developed by @abhi_aggarwal1, @PodgorskiLab, and team. #HappyNewYear #NYE
Forget how your biology textbooks depicted the endoplasmic reticulum. @hhmijanelia scientist Andrew Moore used our open graphics tool AGAVE to create this image showing the ER's outer membrane. The tool borrows animation studio techniques to create realistic light sources.

What I didn't expect to read today: Viagra (Sildenafil) can boost the immune response against cancer Viagra helps natural killer cells migrate to lymph nodes – from tumours – where where they meet and activate T cells
Thrilled that our newest work led by @AveryTTran, Dr. Wisniewski, and @mistrigr is out today in @NatureMaterials! We show how the cytokinesis proteins Anillin and Ect2 drive RhoA/ROCK/myosin-mediated invasion in confining spaces in vitro and in vivo. doi.org/10.1038/s41563….
In this piece of brain tissue the size of sand grain are 200,000 neurons and nearly 2.5 miles of axons. While it may seem small in size, it was previously thought impossible to map. The road to this beautiful image is both a scientific and human triumph: alleninstitute.org/news/scientist…
Congrats @AjayTijore et al! Happy that #confinement #mechanobiology can help address so many interesting questions!
2nd paper from Mechanobiologics Lab is out in Journal 'Small' @AdvPortfolio. This work led by my 1st PhD student Alka. Superb collaboration with @ahcells & Rudra Pratap @CeNSEatIISc. We discovered how confined spaces in tissue reduce tumor cell killing upon ultrasound treatment.
