Sad news: Democrat @RepJoeCasello has suffered a massive heart attack. According to an email from the Palm Beach leg. delegation, "Despite the tireless efforts of his medical team, the damage to his heart was extensive, and unfortunately he is not expected to recover."
It seems that the DeSantis administration just pulled more than a dozen contracts tied to the Everglades Immigration Detention facility from a public database of state contracts. These contracts total more than $200 million in taxpayer spending, and they are public records.
They said this facility was for “the most vicious.” Instead, a 15-year-old boy ended up in an internment camp built by the state. No due process. No oversight. Just trauma. This is not justice, it’s government overreach at its worst.
