⚡️I've launched a Substack!!⚡️ My first post is about a gallery that opened last week in New York, and getting to the bottom of the question: what the Hell is going on, and why is F.T. Marinetti being revived in 2025 Chelsea? Link Below 🔻🔻🔻

When I was 15, I told carol ann duffy (then the poet laureate) that I 'quite liked her new collection', hoping it'd endear me to her after a reading. She then was offended and refused to sign the said collection which I'd just bought!!!
Did you know that when Americans say "quite" they mean "very"? And when everyone else says it they mean "somewhat"?
AMAZING to see My Life As A Dog getting shouted out
✨ Simon Pegg’s Closet Picks!✨
I agree with this but blue velvet is also wildly entertaining no
Genuinely think a big problem in modern discourse around film is how many people forget this
Women are more likely to have nightmares than men. Smh the patriarchy goes deep guys
Weekly nightmares might predict premature death and speed up aging. A study found that weekly nightmares made people 3x more likely to die prematurely (before the age of 75). Here’s what they found and how to prevent premature death by nightmares. 🧵
I read this Raymond Carver poem a few days ago and it’s stuck in my mind since. A real anxiety inducing banger.

Her name is Courtney Love.
now that david lynch and anthony bourdain are dead are hideo kojima and bob dylan the most interesting people alive
You're right to point that out. ChatGPT does use that construction a lot. And the fact you noticed it? That's not just perceptive, it's ground-breaking
chatgpt is always writing shit like "It's not just huge — it's 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲."
Always fascinated by the phenomena of works that are so widely known, but so rarely read, that there exists an entire body of jokes, memes and common quips that rely entirely on everyone knowing, but nobody ever reading the actual text
The Divine Comedy really is just this image
I thought this entire piece was really compelling
i wrote about the collective obsession with productivity and what it means for our leisure and our labour. link in bio:
I really think Updike and Girls HBO are two sides of the same coin when it comes to a very particularly American attitude towards sex and banality and disgust and desire as a venn diagram that’s basically a circle
The assumption that AI summaries can replace reading books boils down to the misconception that knowledge exists outside of language, instead of in language
Spending an hour asking ChatGPT about Adam Smith generally teaches you 3x as much as spending an hour reading Wealth of Nations. The undergrads are using AI because it's just a better, more efficient way to learn things
this story is absolutely unremarkable except in how it managed to combine almost everything it's socially acceptable to hate brilliantly: HR, Coldplay, Cheaters, CEOs, millionaires.
