My strongest memory of COVID: I was sat in a respirator. They are horrible to wear. It made my nose stream and I'd gone deaf in one ear from pressure on my temperomandibular joint from the mask straps. I was tired. So, utterly, dog tired. I'd just reviewed a man, in his 50s
Hi there, thanks for getting in touch, can you please send us your full name, address and account number with a brief explanation of the issue via a private message so I can look into this for you? Thanks - Bhuvaneshwari.
Fuck my boots. I've just got my water bill from @thameswater They increased my standing charges by 40.7%! Paying through the nose for the privilege of having effluent pumped into the waterways and filling shareholders and execs pockets with cash. Fucking robbers 🤬🤬🤬

The less adult conversation we have around the negotiation table, the more gaslighting from government, the more likely combined action gets. None of us want this. We want a pay review mechanism that does its job, a pathway to pay restoration & indeed non pay elements too. 1/2
The Tories spent 15 years slicing the NHS to the extent that we're now hosing doctors abroad to other healthcare systems. Kemi's answer? Indebted servitude. Idiot. BBC News - Tories would ban strikes by NHS doctors - Badenoch bbc.com/news/articles/…

"The windmills are killing the young birds. It's terribly sad, young birds being killed. I like young birds. My friend Jeffrey liked young birds too, and I said to him it would be sad if there weren't any young birds."
What has to glitch so badly in someone's head, to render them this unpleasant? It's unreal.

1/ Kate Matharu, a GP of 25 years, told The Guardian that resident doctors striking “harms patients” and that people who put finances first “shouldn’t be in the profession.” We should talk about why this perspective is deeply flawed.
Doctors deserve full pay restoration. Last year Labour offered a 4.25% uplift on the previous Tory offer. This was accepted as part of a pathway to restoration. Now Labour employ the same tactics as the Tories did to try and demonise doctors. It ain't gonna work. Solidarity ✊
