How Americans see me v how Brits see me

The number one ranked golfer in the world, Scottie Scheffler: "I'd much rather be a great father than be a great golfer." Worth watching this entire answer as a man who's reached the pinnacle of his sport wrestles through what really matters in life.
However bad it looks in the UK from the outside... ...from the inside it is much worse.
Stupidity of this government continues
Today Parliament approved new laws (by 112 votes) allowing foreign government investors to own 15% of UK newspapers. Wrongheaded policy rushed through to try to facilitate the Telegraph acquisition. NO to 🇨🇳 state influence in 🇬🇧 media. @DavidAltonHL had it right 👇
It is time for large scale protests against this Labour government. They are destroying the economy. They are destroying the country.
10 more bars closing... The hospitality sector is under attack by Labour: - Rising taxes - More bureaucracy - High energy costs - Squeeze of customer wages They are destroying entire industries. Labour must be removed from power.
🚨| BREAKING: BrewDog is closing 10 bars across the UK, with staff reportedly given "three days' notice". Unite Hospitality: "In what universe is 3 DAYS a morally (or legally) acceptable notice period for a proper redundancy consultation for the workers impacted?!"
"This is just simply managed decline, it is accelerated decline, driven by ideology and steered from Whitehall." We are ruled by morons. Labour has lost its mandate. They must be removed from power.
We are through the looking glass now. Hostile language. An impossible fiscal regime. The wilfull de-industrialisation of the UK driven by ideology and driven from Whitehall. This Labour Government is costing jobs and surrendering our energy security 👇
More communist nonsense. We need more schools like Eton, Gordonstoun, Radley and Winchester. Let's build them.
I agree - public schools like Eton, Gordonstoun, Radley and Winchester should be abolished.
Angela Rayner: Communist Rachel Reeves: Economically illiterate Ed Miliband: Net Zero nutter Bridget Phillipson: Destroying education “Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive… it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it.” Keir Starmer’s government must…
Worse, they will spend more on debt interest than education. We will eventually catch health.
This year, Britain will spend TWICE as much on debt interest payments (£112Bn) as on defense (£57Bn). Before 2018, Britain spent more on defense than debt interest. The fiscal incontinence of the Blair-Brown-Cameron-Boris governments have been a bigger geostrategic threat…
Jess Phillips, another moron and a danger to women. She has to go, Labour has to go.
Tom Swarbrick “Do you think there are people in this country who have a culturally very different view of women & are more likely to engage in these activities?” Jess Phillips “I’ll tell you the group of people who are most likely to abuse - that is men.”
We are rules by morons! Another disaster for Rachel Reeves: June borrowing is £20.7 billion, second-highest June borrowing since records began, around £6.6 bn more than in June 2024, £3.6 bn above OBR and market forecasts. This is economic vandalism. Labour needs to go!

While Milei is turning around Argentina with "less government", Gary Government thinks we need more government.
‘I’ve made millions of pounds betting on this, and I don’t want to be right again.’ @garyseconomics has a wager for @AndrewMarr9 on the UK’s future if it doesn’t tax the super rich.
NEW EPISODE DROPPED... Swiss politician @samuelkullmann joins me to explain how the Swiss model can fix a broken Britain, the power of direct democracy, and why we must end the era of the career politician. Watch – youtu.be/dP8l__eiols Links to full episode in 🧵
In 2020, the UK government only had to pay 0.6% on 30 yr gilts. Today it has to pay 5.5%. Imagine your mortgage costs went up 9X and so you had to keep borrowing more just to pay the higher interest. Unlikely to end well.
It’s not a miracle, it’s economics.
🚨 Breaking: Extreme poverty in Argentina 🇦🇷 drops another 18% during the past year, to a new low of 7.4% Real wage growth is now outpacing inflation. @JMilei's miracle is unstoppable!
“two-thirds of the money the government is borrowing each year is now being spent on interest payments on already outstanding debt” This is how a country goes broke. We are ruled by morons.
"Inflation rise takes the UK closer to debt-crisis cliff edge" – my latest @Telegraph column Britain is heading for a very serious fiscal crisis – not unlike the 1976 fiasco which saw this country go "cap in hand" to the International Monetary Fund for a bail-out. Government…
