Some personal/professional news: I'm launching "When the Facts Change - economics and politics in a fast-changing world". Click on the link in my X biography to read my first post. I'll obviously continue to write my weekly "Economics Agenda" column for the Telegraph, and…
Plenty of people writing on here about the death of Ozzy Osbourne - and rightly so. I was never really into "heavy metal" - the important musical genre in part invented by Black Sabbath, four working-class kids from Birmingham. But I heard plenty of it in my youth, and some of…
It’s almost as if these words from @hmtreasury - which will have been through numerous drafts and committees staffed by taxpayer-funded and generously-pensioned and therefore financially secure staff - are deliberately designed to wind up so many of the UK’s dedicated and hardy…
A stunning claim from the Treasury’s Family Farm Tax impact assessment. They say it will have “no significant impact” on family life. Have the treasury spoken to a single farmer? It is already causing a huge amount of stress and anxiety amongst our hardworking farming families
Good to see you back. Your economic vision in recent months has been 20 20. The public need that insight on the subject as the MSM are not currently providing it.
I hope you are back on #GBNews permanently. 🙏 You are the only economist who tells it as it is, clearly, and in an unbiased way. I always enjoy hearing your analysis. Thank you Liam. Well done.👏
I feel the same way and was absolutely gutted when they binned On The Money because it was the most I'd enjoyed a programme in years. I very rarely watch GB News now. It has nothing I'm interested in watching. Much like the BBC.
Can’t understand why GBNEWS let Liam Halligan go..bring him back please.🙏🏻
We need you back more than ever, Liam. Praying they see sense and restore your regular slot. 🩵
💯 love @GBNEWS but this was idiotic then and is even more idiotic now. And for good measure, will be increasingly idiotic as Labour reduce the UK to financial rubble.
Wish you were back with On The Money - best financial programme I’ve ever seen on the TV
About to pop up on @GBNEWS to talk to my friend @MichelleDewbs in the studio about the UK’s public finances Good to see @TaliaWheating and some other former colleagues
