On the Chad-Sudan border this week, I saw how the UK is helping to deliver life-saving support to some of the world’s most vulnerable people. I met women and children, whose lives are on hold because of the war in Sudan. The UK will not let Sudan be forgotten.

The healthcare system in Gaza is near collapse. Aid supplies must be allowed in, medical workers protected, and the sick and wounded allowed to temporarily leave Gaza for treatment. The UK is bolstering medical support for Palestinians through @UKMed, @UNOCHA and @WHOEgypt.

The war in Sudan has caused the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. The @UN Security Council strongly condemns ongoing RSF attacks in Darfur, which have killed over 400 civilians, including 11 aid workers. All perpetrators of attacks on civilians should be held to account.
Today, 🇸🇮 🇩🇰 🇫🇷 🇬🇷 and 🇬🇧 delivered a joint statement with a clear and united message: Ukraine has shown its commitment to peace. Russia must stop delaying and agree to a full, immediate and unconditional ceasefire.
