Street theatre and other things.
Think it speaks volumes as to the strength and quality of #LucyLetby 's character that she remains, extrajudicially, silent. While we can all rail about her 'defence' it is not they who are responsible for this catastrophe, but the State, who prosecute and judge on our behalf.
All of this, in my humble opinion, is directly relevant to — resonant of — the process in Lucy Letby’s trials and appeals thus far.
Uh, Maxwell, who appears to have been largely railroaded in the moral panic/bloodlust after Epstein killed himself, would have plea bargained long ago if she had the type of knowledge MAGA is thirsting for. This interview is going to be opposite of what MAGA is hoping/expecting.

A lower court is bound by its own prior decisions. Only a superior court can over rule them. Ironically this is what forced the Court of Appeal to grant leave to appeal its decision (allegedly, it is reluctant to do so, considering itself to have the best criminal expertise).…
This is absolutely dynamite.
Systemic inability to correct cascading errors: initial errors became systematically replicated across multiple cases, as subsequent trials refused to reconsider erroneous points made previously.

Why have no senior British police officers, active or retired, criticised the #LucyLetby investigation, prosecution and conviction? Politicians, doctors, nurses, lawyers, even a supreme court judge, all express doubt based on knowledge, experience and the facts. But the police?
Judge Alison Nathan permitted Maurene Comey to call alleged "victims" to testify in the Maxwell trial using fake names -- an astonishing affront to the 6th Amendment of the US Constitution. The deliberations around this decision are still redacted. So yes, please #ReleaseTheFiles
Munchausen by proxy is the classic “medicalisation of everyday life”. Zero biological pathology.
Even though MsBP wasn’t a big factor in the trial of Lucy Letby, it’s apparent it was a factor in the Police’s decision to run a narrow minded investigation. Independent survey finds for every 400 allegations, 4 have weight thetimes.com/article/720f66…
🧵 a truly scary situation #LucyLetby
Horrifying article about a moral panic in British social services. Families have been ripped apart based on fallacious accusations of harm. An ultra-rare phenomenon is believed to be common, with devastating consequences. Here's how this relates to Lucy Letby. (1/6)
