The prior vets and the current vet all know Lucy would be better off in a warmer climate, with another elephant,with more space, with more autonomy, but never speak up for Lucy's defense. They are allowing Lucy to suffer. It is a failure to uphold the veterinarian oath.

That is right. It is appalling that Dr. Limoges, Lucy’s vet at prison /zoo doesn’t seem to care 1 bit. She knows about cement, foot rot, painful toe nails infections and she can’t seem to heal oozing ulcerations on #Lucy
