It's horrible that they've been allowed to keep her alone almost her whole life. The zoo has been saying for over a decade she's too sick to move to a sanctuary & only hires vets that support their story, never an impartial panel of vets. Canada should do better. #FreeLucy

In #Lucys natural habitat #Lucy would spend her days socializing, swimming, browsing, & playing. But instead she’s forced into stressful interactions with #Yegzoo public. These encounters place immense psychological & physical strain on intelligent 🐘 & can be dangerous.
