The Edmonton zoning bylaw is destroying family communities. Investors make big rental income on tiny units that are built in communities they'll never set foot in. The bylaw is an affront to existing homeowners. The Edmonton City Council needs to be fired for incompetence.

Walters is out of touch with reality. The guy thinks it's okay to put 6 rental units on each side of your family home. Michael Walters is another SITBY. That is the last thing Edmonton needs, especially after suffering through the worst Mayor and Council in Edmonton history.

Edmonton has been conned. The zoning bylaw is all about money. Builders make good cash putting up rental units & investors make huge money collecting rent, in communities investors will never set foot in. They replace family homes with rentals no one will ever raise a family in.
