Brian James Kinzie, 10/6/72 - 1/18/14. But today is a day to focus on the dash, and not the dates. Because Kinzie put a *hell* of a lot of life into that dash. And I like to think that he’s up there smiling knowing there’s a Kinzie prowling the sidelines in a headset again.
And with the 5th D2 Flexbone Team of the 2025 Season, we are excited to announce that @TusculumFB will be now running the Flexbone. We will do a full report prior to all the D2, D3, and NAIA teams this upcoming season. More to come in the next month.

My strength coach and I just sat down after practice and planned out exactly what we’re doing from now through the end of October in the weightroom. Too many parents are spending hundreds for Planet Fitness without realizing that their school is worth 10 times that.
I have yet to see an athlete “train on their own” at the local gym and actually see any measurable improvement over any period of time. Especially during the summer, the athletes who miss sessions never improve and often regress. Programming and environment matters!

Amazing experience! Caught up with @KinzieLikeABoss. Just a good dude. Working with @CoachCurtisWCHS was a blessing, an ELITE coach teacher. Staff from @NorthfieldNors1 were impressive. Coach Baker is a professional. And Bart Curtis IS what everyone loves about HS football.

Got our box of “Hot Dog Football” practice jerseys today. Opened it up and inside were a few dozen pairs of Charlotte 49ers training shorts. I closed up the box and said “well, there’s probably a bunch of very confused equipment managers in Charlotte right now…”
