The government shouldn't be the one planning to build mines, pipelines, and plants. Without the government deciding it needs to have it's say on everything, these projects may already have been on the way under the more efficient hand of the free market.

A government that makes non-violent protest impossible, and cages non-violent protesters for 7 or 8 years, makes violent protest:
If the status quo parties had their way, only the status quo parties would be allowed on the ballot. Don’t give the establishment the gift of raising the number of signatures required to run. We need more choice, not less.
