Austrian economics is to Keynesian economics as astronomy is to astrology.
The Left: *complains that the West got rich by plundering other countries* The Left: *wants to get the State rich by plundering other taxpayers*
Tax the rich = punish the rich Tax the rich ≠ help the poor
Capitalism isn’t primarily about money - it’s about liberty. The rest - private property, individual rights, free speech - flows out from this. Capitalism isn’t primarily for the rich. It’s for the independent, the nonconformist, the freethinker.
It's wrong to use Venezuela or Cuba as examples of socialism not working. In those countries, socialism works perfectly, and that is the results.
It's true. The results are consistent. Oppression, prison for any dissidents, starvation and suffering for everyone else.

Truth
“Social programs” are not designed to lift people out of poverty but to subjugate them further, to create clienteles dependent on the state aid, so they can never get ahead on their own and will always owe the “favor”.

Sound money is a store of value over time. Fiat currencies are thieves of value over time.
Government employees don't pay taxes. Private sector employees pay taxes. Government employees receive tax money and return some of it back to government.
Universities are led by socialists and communists. They teach socialism and communism.

Keynesian economics is not economics. It is a set of self-justifiying government policies. Which is why politicians like it so much.
Theft: forcing someone, under threat, to hand over part of the product of their labor. To tax: forcing someone, under threat, to hand over part of the product of their labor. What's important is the nature of the action, not the identity of the agent.
