It is most important to read a document fully, and not rely on anyone else's gloss on it. Ever. Even if they're someone you usually agree with. Maybe especially if they're someone you usually agree with...
Agree. I know everyone is busy but don't rely on hearsay and those who have something to gain by objecting. Read it is chunks, discuss, consider in relation to your setting, use what helps.

theguardian.com/politics/2025/… Developers do not make profit out of these things, so should be fined for late development. They understand fines.
He is saying that I have to have strict discipline because of my multicultural intake. That isn’t true.
This is a lie the Right likes to spread: ‘Black and brown kids need discipline more than white kids.’ Not true. I advocate for strict schools for ALL kids. ALL kids need rules! The idea that only brown kids need rules is just racist. Kids are kids, whatever their colour.🙄
She is a posterchild for diversity. She used strict rules so her multicultural school could function. It is a blueprint for multi-culti society. 0% freedom 100% control No one wants to live like that.
theguardian.com/education/2025… An unbelievable, and unmitigated disaster.

I'm taking an inquiry based approach with our Quality Improvement Groups next year. I found that doing my own small scale pieces of research or inquiries led to both improvement but job satisfaction. I will be interested to see the outcomes tes.com/magazine/analy…
Schools should not be allowed to use non-disclosure agreements to shield errors and mismanagement.
I remember this one. As someone who is profoundly deaf, I’m fortunate that my employer and the staff that represent it are genuinely inclusive. But in my lifetime, I’ve experienced so much prejudice, especially pre-legislation. It’s awful to see it still goes on
The difference in work quality of a student with Visual Stress: White paper vs Yellow paper Common misconception: Yellow is not the universal colour that should be used with Visual Stress, there are 10 standard Irlen colours that are used, based on what is effective! 🕶️💛
I never considered @Amanda_Spielman other than fair-minded on this issue, and shared her concern about covert religious schools, practising indoctrination and, according to children I'd spoken to who attended them, corporal punishment. I her concern on this issue.
As Ofsted Chief Inspector I was often accused of being Islamophobic for talking about some tough issues in education and children’s social care that absolutely do need to be discussed openly and honestly. I share others’ concerns about the plan to create and embed a definition.
Many GP practices will be reeling from the recent advice from @NHSEngland PAs must be supervised closely, they must not prescribe or have access to any ability to do so, and the responsibility for anything going wrong will clearly sit with supervisor. 🧵 1/10
