Hoping to dry rain soaked fields old school baseball groundskeepers would occasionally douse wet playing surfaces with gasoline and set them afire. Forbes Field @Padres @sdutKevinAcee @dennistlin #padres
To be fair, Kentucky's almost never ranked in the top 25, so the sample size may be small.
Tonight is @UKFootball’s worst loss ever in a game in which both Kentucky and their opponent were ranked in the AP Poll heading into the game (38 points)
Jalin Hyatt has me looking up the NCAA record for receiving TDs. It's 27, by Troy Edwards at La. Tech. If the Vols make the playoffs, Hyatt may very well break it. #Vols
Meh. Overrated.
On #WorldFoodDay I just want to say: I’m a fan.
This deserves overtime. But I'd take a last-second UT field goal.
MISSED IT
It's borderline life-affirming to watch, honestly.
I don’t care how good @KirkHerbstreit is calling games (and he is very good), I will always have massive respect for him for how he treats Lee Corso He shows him respect, is caring and helps bring out the best of him. We all should be so lucky to have such a friend
Braves get: RHP Raisel Iglesias, RHP Jesse Chavez for LHP Tucker Davidson, RHP Jesse Chavez

imagine leading for 170 days and not winning the division
Imagine winning fourteen games in a row and still waking up 4.5 games back in the division.
Because they're only 30 minutes long, it'd only take 90 hours, assuming no breaks.

Short answer: We don’t play for them. It’s not disrespectful. They’re not presidents or doctors or priests. They’re coaches. And 99.9% of them don’t care if a fellow adult addresses them by their first name.
Honest question: why do most reporters refer to a Head Coach using their first name when asking them a question instead of saying “Coach ______”? What’s the history behind this? I say “sir” and “mam” to 16 year olds at the Wendy’s drive thru. 🤷🏽♂️

Typically showing this to be very true in Atlanta: @ArchesBrewing and @halfcrooksbeer. You might see an IPA at Arches, but it's definitely not their focus.

“Cities are being hollowed out by pedestrian precincts, with commerce for residents moving outside the centers of town” says person whose country has the most deadly transportation system among G7 nations & demolished vibrant neighborhoods to install ugly, polluting highways.
They continued: "We're considering calling this brand new phenomenon no one has ever heard of 'induced demand.' Please credit WSDOT whenever you use that phrase in the future. Thank you."
