Travels by foot, bicycle, car, bus, tube, train, motorbike, taxi or ambulance. Not one is the single answer to travel in London. Believe your eyes, not the lies
In 2021, Islington had the highest number of London Fire Brigade delays in the last 10 years due to traffic calming measures. Meanwhile IslingtonBC keep telling us there has been no significant impact on response times due to LTNs.

London air pollution trajectory before ULEZ....
Thanks to ULEZ, harmful roadside NO2 pollutants are 27% lower across London, compared to a scenario without ULEZ. This toxic gas aggravates asthma, stunts lung development and increases the risk of developing lung cancer. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…
Anna Goodman's husband breaks cover! Andrew Hanson admitted he's part of pro-LTN Better Streets West Dulwich. He called for the return of an LTN saying Lambeth had lost on "a fairly minor point". Goodman's authored many of the contentious pro-LTN studies. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Now remove the rest, not just in the 'wealthy' areas. standard.co.uk/news/transport…
When Islington showed computer generated images of what Clerkenwell Green would look like after removing parking and closing the roads, they didn't show fenced off rain gardens / rubbish traps, food delivery riders on the pavement, or the toilets still surrounded by hoardings.

In the mindset of an LTN fanatic, this road remains "open". It's not an AI generated image - this photo was taken 27th April near the Lee Valley Velopark.

Does anyone know if there are plans for the whole of London to be a zero emissions zone by 2030? Source of Slide: page 11 democracy.islington.gov.uk/documents/s245…

I used to have respect for the Green Party as they genuinely campaigned for things I saw as beneficial to the planet. Today I found this lot dumped on the floor of our entrance lobby where they are campaigning for a policy to push up the cost of rents. Greenwashed Jokers.

Did the designers of "smart motorways" envisage that people who used to be middle lane hogs would become 3rd lane hogs, even when there's no traffic to overtake in lanes 1 & 2? Others moving from lane 1 to 4 to overtake and back to lane 1 doesn't phase them in the slightest.
When you find out that your Council's transport department is now called "Climate Change and Transport", you know ideology has taken over.

Islington Council currently lock many of their parks at night which helps reduce crime, reduce anti-social behaviour and protect the parks from damage. Now they want to stop all that. Please take a moment to lodge an objection here: letstalk.islington.gov.uk/park-gate-lock…
Blocked by Cycling Mikey for calling out his poor cycling. Do I win a prize?

No wonder TfL delayed publication of its Travel in London report looking at ‘active travel’. Cycling by London residents has decreased since last year! So they included different charts to last year to try & muddy the waters. Here’s the two years’ charts they have published. 1/2
