Happy Statehood Day Montenegro. In 1878, the Berlin Congress recognised the then principality as the world’s 27th independent state. We commend the great strides it has made this year towards becoming the EU’s 28th member by 2028.

On the eve of @budapestpride & @DublinPride, proud to join many of my fellow Ambassadors here in Hungary in affirming our solidarity with this great nation’s LGBTQ community - and the right to free assembly here & elsewhere.
