🚨 Good news for Meath commuters! Fianna Fáil in Government is ramping up our investment in public transport, roads and active travel. €22.3 billion will be invested under the new National Development Plan. I am working to ensure that Meath is well served by this investment.

Minister @ThomasByrneTD says Ireland must invest in its neutrality and that true neutrality means not relying on Russia to approve peacekeeping. The Triple Lock needs reform, but he is firm that: “Ireland is not joining NATO — I’m saying that all over Europe.” #macgill25

Albania is making strong strides in its accession process. At Prime Minister @ediramaal’s office, I met with Chief Negotiator, Minister Majlinda Dhuka, to discuss progress on accession. Enlargement will be a priority for Ireland’s EU Presidency next year. 🇮🇪🇦🇱🇪🇺 @IrlEmbAthens

CAP update from Brussels meeting today On budget proposals, I made it clear that Ireland wants a separate, strong and ring-fenced CAP and Common Fisheries Policy. Important clarity was offered by EU Budget Commissioner on direct payments / supports. @IFAmedia @fiannafailparty
