Teruko Yahata is member of the Hibakusha, a survivor of the atomic bombing in Hiroshima. Speaking to Ms Yahata, and hearing of her trauma, calls for us to rededicate ourselves to peace, reconciliation and the avoidance of war.

It was an honour and privilege to visit Hiroshima and to lay a wreath at the Memorial Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims. The Mayor of Hiroshima, Mr. Kazumi Matsui spoke of breaking the cycle of hate and by doing so, you can bring peace.
