Just attended Dr. Guolan Lu’s fascinating talk at the #MIPS Research Meeting: “Where do therapeutic antibodies go? – A first-in-human journey” Innovative use of omics to track antibody distribution—exciting translational insights! 🧬🔍 @GuolanLu @StanfordMed
The wait is over!! We are thrilled to announce that we have chosen Spatial Proteomics as 2024’s Method of the Year! 🥳 For more on Spatial Proteomics and a road map to this special issue, please see this month’s Editorial or read on in this thread. nature.com/articles/s4159…
Great talk by Guolan Lu @GuolanLu on #SpatialBiology using #CODEX data. Showed a 3D tumor map🗺️ Nearly all slides said that data was unpublished & not to be shared. So keep an eye on upcoming preprints/papers from Lu et al! Lu is also starting her lab and hiring @OGConferences
Fantastic last day
Kicking off the last day of #SBS24, the Science Grandfather himself @GarryPNolan took us on a journey from Merkel cell carcinoma to tissue schematics to LLMs (check out Cellformatica!). No UAPs but maybe next time...
Mind blowing closing talks of the #SBS2024 by @GarryPNolan @GuolanLu @SizunJ and @Prof_Lundberg how we can begin to transition from knowledge to meaning of imaging data entering a new era with #AI. 🤖 ✍️ 📄
Congratulations and much success in your future Guolan! You very much deserve your success…

Congrats to Lawrence Fong, MD, former Co-Director of the PICI Center at @UCSF, on his new role as Scientific Director of @FH_IRC! His pioneering work has transformed cancer treatment & will continue to do so @fredhutch! Read about @lawfong's i-o vision: fredhutch.org/en/news/center…
27 days until the spatial summit! We’ve opened up a new block of spots if you weren’t able to register before. Get them while they last!
It's been wonderful working with you, @MagdaMatusiak Congratulations on this groundbreaking work uncovering the spatial maps of macrophages and their clinical relevance! Looking forward to seeing your future work and further contributions to the field!
The Spatial Human #Macrophage Map is finally online in @CD_AACR! We show how phenotypically distinct macrophage populations occupy spatially segregated tissue #niches, with #IL4I1 and #SPP1 TAMs predicting opposite outcomes in colon cancer!
What a tour de force visit by Dr. Guolan Lu @GuolanLu @Stanford! Mind blowing work on single-cell drug imaging and spatial omics to track therapeutic antibody delivery in cancer patients. Thanks so much for visiting @pennbioeng!
This Thursday, we welcome @GuolanLu for a #PennBioengineering seminar talk: "Where Do Therapeutic Antibodies Go?: A First-in-Human Journey." Bio & abstract: bit.ly/3SG2hAI
